the sage was born out of the need to create a place where you do not have to check every single product, if it's really vegan.

A place where you can just go shopping and find everything for your sustainable lifestyle.

A place to find new tools for your Zero Waste lifestyle that will help you to further reduce your environmental footprint.

But also a place of inspiration and tradition that combines old techniques and new insights.

Low Waste

We always look for products with a zero waste aspect. We avoid using single use plastic and other plastics whenever possible. Plastic isn't a renewable resource and it pollutes our entire planet.
Our products are designed to be durable and recyclable.
However, we decided to commit ourselves to low waste and not to zero waste. Because everyone sometimes makes mistakes and our goal is to simplify the transition to a more sustainable lifestyle and not to point the finger at you or ourselves for not being perfect.

Unfortunately, it is also currently not possible to make all everyday commodities biodegradable / reusable and vegan. We are always open for suggestions and improvements, so if you know a more sustainable product than the one in our range, please contact us :)

All our products are vegan. There are NO exceptions (meaning also no honey, no beeswax or silk).

the sage is supposed to be a place where you can browse without having to study long ingredient lists and material lists.
Of course, we still provide all the details of our products, just to be transparent.
Find out what it means to be vegan HERE.
More about our labels can be found HERE.

Our products and ingredients are as natural as possible. What we use in everyday life does not have to be complicated and chemically processed.
That is why we are always looking for natural materials and products for our shop.
The more natural the product, the better it usually gets along with our environment and also with ourselves. Here, too, we are always open to suggestions or improvements.

For us to live consciously means living our lives and not just watching it passing by.
Conscious living is for us an interaction of being mindful towards the environment, the animals, our fellow human beings and ourselves.

Rituals help us to do this in our daily lives. These can be little things like watching the sunset or eating a meal with full attention or something bigger like a meditation, yoga, jogging or journaling.

We want to support you in your rituals and maybe even help you to discover new ones.
