Organic loose tea "Rooibos".
For this high-quality organic tea, the needle-shaped leaves of the plant are picked by hand.
The rooibos "Rotbusch" (Afrikaans) is a broom-like member of the legume family that grows in South Africa. The leaves are used to make an herbal tea called rooibos or roibos tea.
During the 17th and 18th centuries, European travelers and botanists visiting the Cedar Mountain region of South Africa commented on the abundance of "good plants" for healing purposes. The Swedish naturalist Carl Thunberg established in 1772 that "the rural population made tea out of the rooibos or rooibos". Traditionally, the local population climbed the mountains and cut off the fine needle-shaped leaves from wild roibos. Then they rolled the leaf bouquets into Hessian sacks and took them down the steep slopes. The leaves were then chopped with axes and crushed with hammers before being dried in the sun.
The packaging consists of a mason jar with a screw cap.
Sticker as a seal for the glasses (required by law for hygienic reasons).
